Woodlands school Council

At Woodlands Primary School there is a School Council. Children in each class wrote an application to become a member of the School Council. Only 2 could qualify from each year. The class voted on who they thought should be the School Councillor for their class.

The School Council are working on fundraising for benches in our playground. We want these benches because some children may want to sit down at playtimes.

This year, the School Council donated a wheelchair to Leeds General Infirmary because last year a girl in Year 3 had a Nana who died. She said that she wanted more wheelchairs for the hospital as there were not enough and people who needed them had to wait.

After School Clubs

 The school has arranged for Teachers to take after school clubs for children clubs like football, tennis, recorder club, stamp club and many more….
